Unexplained fertility

If you follow me you know about my history of recurrent miscarriages, 6 to be exact.

Long story short, I’m currently with a RE to get answers as to why I can’t sustain a pregnancy. At first I was excited to finally get help on sustaining pregnancy but after ultrasounds of uterus, chromosomal testing, antibody testing, sperm analysis, everything is normal. Yes, we’ve tried progesterone with 5:6 pregnancies and that didn’t seem to help. My doctor has diagnosed me with unexplained fertility and recommends IVF for genetic testing.

IVF of course was our last resort because it’s so expensive and my insurance only covers labs & ultrasounds. I have 2 grant applications that I’ll be mailing off this weekend and hopefully we get selected.
