yes, ah my first love. he was so sweet. we still loved each other when we broke up but we realized we weren’t good for each other anymore. we going different ways and that was okay. we’re not friends today (7 years later) but we follow each other on instagram and we are a friendly acquaintance.

Yes, my husband and I broke up for a short time before we got married. It was the result of a lot of things: a long distance relationship between two countries, work stress and raising three teenagers alone (him), my parents interfering, communication issues, but mostly my parents interfering. It was the worst time I've ever had and my husband says much the same. I remember laying on the laundry room floor literally wailing when we broke up and he told me later that it was all he could do to make it through the door after work everyday and get down to his room before losing it. We quickly realized that whatever issues we had were not worth staying broken up, so we worked through things and got married about four months later. We'll celebrate our eighth anniversary next month.
