Ugh need advice

Okay so I’m sure it’s just my body being weird but I was spotting for three days before my period actually started well I had my normal 7 days of bleeding but now it’s day 9 and I’m still spotting when I go to the bathroom and it’s bright red ..it’s not enough to have to wear any kind of pad but when I wipe it’s definitely there ugh does anyone else have this problem and know what could be causing it? Iv had spotting before but never after my period is supposed to end
