So unless these girls come on their own we are getting induced Wednesday the 12th!!!! But I’m trying to figure out how to keep track of feedings, naps, and diaper changes. I know glow has a baby app for after you have baby but does it work for twins? Or should I just go old school and do paper and pin? How do you guys keep track at home?

Answer

I just had my twins a month ago, and once we got home; I would wake one baby first at the 3hr mark and feed/change then wake the second one up and feed/change. I just kept an eye on the time. I use a marker to label whose bottle is whose. You really don’t need to write everything down. As they start to grow more, they don’t need to be woken up and will let you know when they are hungry of course like any other baby. And some days you’ll find them being on the same schedule and some they will be right after one another. I find it easier when they both aren’t feeding at the same time and on the same exact schedule as one another. I still manage to get at least 6-8hrs of sleep every night.

Amazon has notebooks that are labeled and you just fill in the blanks. It was a lifesaver for us. Once my husband went back to work and it was me all day alone with the babies there were a couple of nights that I didn’t hear the babies at all and he did everything so I could sleep. When I woke he had filled everything out and it was just another reassuring moment that we are on this wild adventure together.
