Finally gave birth! It’s almost your turn!

Was induced due to large baby size, and doctor definitely made the right call!

At 35 week growth ultrasound he was measuring 8lbs 7oz and 5 weeks ahead. My first 3 kids were 8lbs+ at birth born full term so we knew he would be large, but wasn’t quite expecting that.

At 37 weeks I was 4cms and hoping to go into labor on my own, that did not happen! I’ve never had to be induced before but I just wanted him safe. We scheduled an induction for 39 weeks since that’s the earliest they induce.

Pitocin was started at around 9:15 AM he was born at 5:19 PM weighing 9lbs 14oz and 22 inches long.

So glad he’s here and hope to rest a lot and recover well! Good luck to all August mamas! I know it’s frustrating waiting but it’s so close.
