Belly Bands?

So I’m due in a few months, and I’m seeing things like belly bands pop up.  I’m curious if any of you ladies have used one?  What was your experience? Would you recommend one to a first time momma?

This post being in the postpartum group really made me confused.  I didn’t realize you meant the support band for the pregnant belly 🤣

I didn’t get one and hardly have any pooch left at 7 weeks pp. If this is your first baby your body might just go back. (I haven’t worked out yet). My mom went right back. Maybe ask your mom what her body did?

I bought one and tried wearing it right after birth.
Let me warn you by saying you should not use a belly band right away.  You could cause yourself a prolapse because your pelvic muscles are so weak.
So after trying mine on in the first week it squeezed me enough that I peed myself. I also could just tell physically that It was doing harm.
With that said I have now waited 2 months and personally am going to start wearing mine, but incidentally my stomach went back to normal on its own, so I’m just going to wear it for a bit more help with contour.

I should have got one wayyyyyy sooner. At 36 weeks I started getting horrible pelvic and pubic bone pain. Normally I do chiropractic and acupuncture but due to Covid I have not. My mother in law sent me one on amazon. Only had it 2 days and 37 weeks tomorrow but it does help so far!
