Need guidance

Hi, I am a Christian, I’ve been raised christian and I’m currently in a relationship of 6 months with my boyfriend who’s atheist. Lately we haven’t been all that well but after reading the book relationship goals by pastor mike and it talks about how you can’t be with someone who’s goals aren’t pointed to god as well that it’s just no bueno ive just been overthinking and I just need help and guidance and would really like advice and maybe successful anecdotes about similar cases like mine?
