So my boyfriend and I are renting right now from his uncle. He mows the lawn most weekends. Both of our cars were parked in the driveway, and this morning I woke up to a crack in my windshield a little bit bigger than a quarter. This was not there last night and there is nothing I can think of that could’ve made had enough force to make the crack besides a rock shooting out of the mower and hitting my windshield. I’m not sure how to approach the subject, because he wears headphones when he mows and may not even know he did it. However I don’t want to accuse him and make things weird. I was going to have my boyfriend ask him about it and see if he could waive my rent or some of my rent for one month so I could get it fixed. What do you all think?
