This sums up toddlerhood...
We went to look at furniture the other day. It had been a long day. We had already been to another store, and we had had the world’s worst lunch. My daughter had missed her nap. She was tired and hungry.
I pull a Nutrigrain bar out of her backpack to feed her, as she keeps saying, “snack snack snack!”...
She sees the Nutrigrain bar and FREAKS out. Like I had shown her something terrifying. She had an absolute meltdown and dad and to take her out of the store (we haven’t ever had to do that.)
He brought her back in calm, and I went next door to buy her a different snack,
...apparently as soon as I left, she remembered she liked Nutrigrain bars. She ate the pieces I had laid out and then flipped out because I had left to go next door with the rest of it. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
