Streptococcus??

Let me know in the comments what you know about it. I have been recently diagnosed with it, and on a course of antibiotics. I have never heard of it until now. How worried should I be? How much help is the antibiotics?

Strep throat is VERY common and really not a big deal.

Take the antibiotics. Finish the antibiotics. You’ll be fine.

It’s strep throat. Your throat will be very sore for a while. Take your antibiotics and drink honey in your tea. A lot of young kids get it, it’s very common.

Streptococcus is more commonly known as strep throat. I’ve had it numerous times before. It’s not fun. It makes your throat hurt pretty bad (or it does for me). Along with some other symptoms but you’ll be fine. It’s about as common as the common cold.

When I had strep throat I had a fever and an extremely sore throat that felt like razors going down. My doctor wrote me a note for work advising that I had to stay home for three days. The antibiotics kicked In at the end of day 2 of taking them. I have heard people having to take 2 weeks worth of antibiotics at most
