What would you do?

Question

So my husband and I currently live in Southern California. (I've lived here my whole life, hubs is originally from central ca and moved down here about 10 years ago) Well we currently own our little 2 bedroom condo and have lived here for about 3 years with our 16 month old. Well we want to start trying for baby #2 in a few months and we have no room to stay here. Either way we go, we'd still be moving out of/selling our condo. Since this whole covid situation began my husband has been working from home and I only work part time at my vet clinic 2 days a week. Since about March when my hubs started from home, we'd been playing with the idea of moving out of California because it's become SO EXPENSIVE! Well we decided on Las Vegas if we were to move.
Well we played around with a plan that if my husband (who is our main source of income) could work remotely full time, from Las Vegas. I would most likely become a full SAHM and my husband would be home all the time like he is now. 
Here's all my pros and cons that I could think of right now
Pros: bigger/nicer house for almost the same amount of money, my husband would have an actual office (right now he uses our kitchen table and is often distracted by our son), wed have a garage, save money on gas by my hubs not commuting. MIL and most likely SIL would follow us out there, my best friend lives out there. 
Cons: my parents my not move with us. Its a new place/starting over completely,  figuring out timelines on when to move/actually moving. Most likely would be pregnant at the time of moving
Well just today my husband finally broached the subject with his boss, and to our utter disbelief he approved and supported our whole plan! 
So now, we have the decision to make of if we really want to move away or not. If we did it won't happen until likely some time next year but its a dilemma.  Ive never lived more than 20 minutes from my parents and its something completely different. 
So what would you do? Or any thoughts on other options?

Why would you stay just for your parents? You have your own family. Now isnt the time to put plans on hold because your mom and dad can't move with you. That would be the most bizarre reason I've ever heard. It's your only con so I would just erase it off the list. Your parents will literally be less than a 6 hour car ride away.

Why Las Vegas? If you'll be a SAHM and he'll be working from home, you can live ANYWHERE. Wherever you decide to go,  I would rent for the first year before committing to a city, just in case you don't like it and decide to go back to CA or try somewhere else.

I would move to seek best quality for your family.
My husband in the Navy so we move often and no family and friends around. So for me is normal to move. I just moved to San Diego and it is overpriced, we are in a dilemma to buy a house here or not. We are renting this first year. I love CA weather and I live near the beach but in your situation I would totally move to NV for a better house and etc!

Personally, I’m not a fan of Vegas. I grew up in the Bay Area (Pleasanton) and I recently moved out of Vegas. Well technically Henderson. I moved there with my family, so it wasn’t a bunch of choice lol. The pros for me was there is ALWAYS something open. Food, grocery, somewhere to get a medication, and a daycare. I personally am a quitter town and outdoors kinda girl. Yes there’s beautiful places to see but late April to Late September is out of the question (for me) with 115+ weather. The houses are ridiculous priced, and there’s little to no backyards. Just depending on where you look, what you’re looking for etc. If you want to move there, I would suggest the Out skirts more for a back yard, or bigger parks. Henderson is one of the safest towns to live in, in the country, has a bunch of parks, and bike/walking trails. And of course just about anywhere else farther out of town. Everyone is different and I know people who absolutely love Vegas. It’s definitely an adjustment from California though lol. There’s always something to do in Vegas though!

We were just in Vegas and it was hot as fuck. I can’t imagine living in that kind of heat. I actually decided that we won’t be visiting the grandparents in the summer again, that’s how gross it was.

Do what is best for your family. I live in ca too and we are planning to move out of state soon. I don't know where in socal you live but vegas seems like one heck of an adjustment.

Set up some houses to see and take a ride out there. Maybe stay for the weekend and see how you like the vibe out there. You can live anywhere in the states and the way of life probably wouldn’t be that different.
