Freaking out !

So my one year old son threw up a little bit this morning and didn’t feel warm or anything but now has a fever of 101.1 last I checked, obviously called the doctor and he said give him Tylenol ( which I already did prior to calling) and that it was a “ summer virus” that my son probably picked up and to call if my sons breathing was weird etc. I’m a ftm and currently freaking out even tho my son is playing and smiling. Has anyone gone thru this recently?? also does anyone have any tips to bring down a fever along side the Tylenol?
