Birth control

Hey guys . I recently lost my virginity and I have been using condoms every time i have sex with my boyfriend but my mom has always told me to tell her when I lose it so she can get me on birth control. I have not yet told my mom because Im nervous and I feel like she’s gonna make my bf and i not see each other etc knowing what we do. In addition, I’ve done some research and I’m scared to take birth control because it’s not natural and has hormones. What should I do ?
