Hey y’all!

Just need to vent about how stressed I am right now. We had a Derecho storm move through Iowa midday Monday. We have been without power since. My family drove 4 hours one way last night to bring us a generator to help us. My husband works 24 hour shifts and was gone yesterday when my dad came and will be gone tomorrow. I’m stuck figuring out how to run our generator intermittently while he is gone to save our food/appliances along with caring for two small children (2.5yo and 11 months). I’m nervous as all get out and just ready for some sort of normalcy back after everything 2020 has thrown at us. We are hearing it could be early next week before power is restored.
