Braxton Hicks?

I’m due September 5th and I keep getting what I think are Braxton Hicks. They aren’t really painful but VERY uncomfortable. The question is I thought they weren’t supposed to keep coming or does it not matter at the end? My stomach keeps getting very hard and tight.

If you get more than 5-6 in a single hour I think the recommendation is to call your doctor or nurses line to discuss with them. Besides that - I get them all day long and have for weeks. They are very common at this stage!

I’m due September 5th as well! I totally understand what you’re feeling. I was told unless they are causing pain coming from your back wrapping around the front or like menstrual cramps, then they’re just BH contractions. I’ve been getting quite a few of both. Get an app on your phone and time them if you become to worried. I have probably one to two real contractions a day. I’m getting my cervix checked tomorrow so it’ll be interesting to see if I’m dilated at all!
