covid resource rights help!!!!

AK

Hey all! 39 weeks here. My hospital has me getting tested this week and has an isolation recommendation if i’m positive (baby goes with my husband not me after birth in separate room... which is SO RIDICULOUS because my husband doesn’t have to get tested. but that’s another issue)

I also would have to get cleared to take baby home. My doc said let’s cross that bridge if we get to it, because he knows how stressed and anxious I am to begin with about the labor.

I have two positive family members right now and I’m going for my own test tomorrow with my husband so he can go back to work.

Question is: Where can I find resources on my parental rights? I’ve looked briefly on CDC site and AAP but can’t find anything. I want to be prepared and informed should I be positive. I’ve seen so many posts where commenters say “it’s your baby they can’t take it away” but, the way my brain works, I just need to see that for myself.

Help, mamas!!! Thanks!!!
