Is it okay to cut someone off from your life if they hurt you?

My boyfriend really hurt me by being unfaithful. I broke it off with him yesterday and he's begging to be back in my life. He said he still loves me and doesn't want to lose me. I love him, but now can't trust him, and don't feel beautiful/good enough. Is it okay that I'm not answering his calls or texts? I don't want to be too mean, but I also want nothing to do with him.

My SO asked point blank what is the one thing I could do that would be so bad you’d walk about and never looked. And I say if you even cheated on me I would end it without even saying good bye and there would be nothing you could say or do.
He needs to understand how serious you are about things being over if you feel you can’t trust him anymore he needs to respect that.
