Bedroom Situation.

I’m currently moving into a three bedroom, two rooms on the second floor and the basement is a whole room, my sons are 2 (almost 3) and 8 months. Do you think it would be okay to give them the rooms upstairs? My 8 month old sleeps through the whole night and I’d have a baby monitor anyway, my 2 year old I’m not worried about at all. But there’s also the factors of like “what if there’s a fire or someone breaks in and goes upstairs” that I keep thinking about. I’m just looking for an outside opinion.
