birth control

so im 15 and my mom is forcing me to be on birth control, she wont let me see my boyfriend unless i do so i got the depo shot (her choice) in june and its made my life miserable. i want to get on the pill instead when i go back for my next shot in september but she refuses to let me. she said i have to be on something more permanent like depo or an arm insert.

am i allowed to tell my doctor to switch me to the pill instead of the depo shot without telling my mom or lie and say i got my shot??
