Nipt for gender. Accurate?

So we got our gender results yesterday that it was a boy and I’m just in utter shock and don’t believe it and probably still won’t believe it till I see a little wee wee. We already have 3 girls in our home only 2 is biologically mine and the other is a step daughter. So my question is how accurate are the test?

I think the NIPT test that I did claimed to be 99.4% accurate for gender. My test said boy. He isn’t shy at all with the ultrasound potty shots, so we are pretty certain the test was correct. 😂

yes theyre accurate, especially if your results have come back boy, if it’s picked up the Y chromosome, then it’s pretty spot on that you’re having a boy.
