How long after IUD insertion can you insert anything?

I got my IUD on Wednesday and my doctor never told me anything about not inserting anything but I’ve always read you aren’t supposed to. I have vaginismus so I use dilators to help and I was wondering when I can start using them again. How long after IUD insertion can you insert a finger or dilator?
Edit: thanks for all the answers! I just have a fear of messing it up haha so I’m just giving it some time I guess. I think I’ll feel more comfortable after a week has passed thank you!!

My gyno told me 24 hours. I didn’t have spotting till a few days after that and didn’t need a tampon till me next period anyway. But I did have sex a week after insertion and everything was fine. General advice is 24hrs-1 week.

When I got mine I think they said no sex for a week, I don't think sterile tampons or a clean dilator would be a problem.

Ask you doctor. Mine told me I could tampons that day.

My doctor told me 2 weeks for tampons. As for other things I’m not sure. You should call your OB and ask.

I would honestly give it like a month... in my experience I wish I waited some more time. But im also extra fragile so. You may be okay. Might be worth calling the office real quick to make sure you’re good to go
