Hair washing/products for babies

Okay moms with mixed children or who have babies with super curly hair this question is for you!

How often are you washing your child’s hair? And what products are you using (if any) to keep your child’s hair from getting too frizzy and dry until their next bath?

My child is mixed and has real curly hair, I wash it twice a week and put coconut oil in his hair. Is there anything else I should or can be doing for his hair? Picture below so you can see his hair..
