How do you wean off babies that latch to sleep?

DD is 10 months now and i’m planning to wean her off when she hits a year old. Through out this 10 months, she have never slept through the night. She’s always waking up, crying to latch. So i’m wondering if it’s even possible for me to wean her off when latching is the only only way to soothe her since she doesn’t take a real soother. She drinks formula in the day when she’s in school. But when she’s home she rejects the bottle and wants to latch only.
