TW ⚠️ Rape.
So, this is not a me story. It’s a story about someone I know. A boy, the sweetest boy i have ever met. I’m not here to tell his story as it is not my place, but to be cautious of EVERYONE. No matter what race, gender, religion. Be careful where you look.
A year ago, I was told a story. The story was not a fun story, it was disturbing and unsettling. My guy friend at the time was talking to me, we just so happen to be talking about rape and sexual assault. I was telling him my own story, when he said “can I tell you mine? “ I was shocked that he had a story to tell and I let him tell it. He basically told me that he had been raped by a girl, twice. I know what some of you may be thinking, if it happened twice he wanted it. Right? Wrong. He did not. He told me what happened to him. I’m not going to specifics but the first time he was given oral without consent. The second time he got rode. he’s explained to me why he still remained in contact, but it shouldn’t need an explanation, he didn’t give consent he said no. This is not about the actual rape, it’s about the person who did it. He told me the name of the girl and I promise not to tell anyone. He’s not comfortable telling anyone as he’s a guy and it’s not something that is in society enough, guys get raped too. Anyways, I looked her up on Facebook and every other social media. If you have not told me what she done I would think she was the nicest, sweetest, popular girl from her she is perceived on social media. It angers me that she gets a lot of attention, she’s doing successfully, she has a ton of friends, and a lot of Instagram followers,. you might be thinking that followers and numbers like that don’t matter, but when it’s someone who is literally a rapist, it’s sickens me. Please be aware of people who look like the good guy or a good girl, there can always be. a threat.
