5 day old baby really hot?

Mommas, our house has no AC (thank you Washington) and today was a hotttt day and our house gets crazy stuffy and hot and we only have fans. My daughter is 5 days old and just feels so hot to the touch, I told her temp under the arm and it was 99.2. I took her clothes off trying to cool her down but unsure of what I should do????

You can go to your car maybe and stay there for a little bit ... babies temperature are higher than adults tho... call your doctor if you have any questions ☺️

Girl, where at in Washington do you live? Houses there totally have AC 😂 My husband is from WA and I’m from Oregon. We still have plenty of friends in Washington who have AC. I’d get a window unit.

That's not an unusual temp for a baby. They run a little warmer. My son is frequently around 99.1/99.2. A baby that young should generally be in one layer more than you are comfortable in, if that helps at all?
