Mastitis?

Has anyone here had mastitis without a pronounced clog or redness? My breast is so tender and engorged it has been since I woke up and I'm now running a 102 fever and have chills and slight aches but it's also a whole ass pandemic going on so idk what to think 😅 tell me how it was for you

This is me today!  I went from fine to feeling run over by a truck with 101.9 fever 2h later. No big red area but omg it hurts. Even sitting up my breast is on fire. I did all the massage etc and called my OB bc I just felt so awful. I didn’t have to go in, she just sent in antibiotics and said Tylenol for the fever and aches.

I had mastitis a couple weeks back. I had a softball sized rock-hard engorgement due to blocked ducts and not pumping or feeding enough. I had a fever, nausea, pain and malaise. 
I talked to my midwife who suggested warm showers and compressed before feedings, TONS of massaging, Tylenol AND Advil round the clock, lots of water, and REST! I’m terrible at taking care of myself, but I did what she said and was good within about 36 hours. I didn’t end up needing antibiotics because my fever broke within that time. I highly suggest getting ahead of things before it gets worse. I’m still dealing with some after affects 😬

If it is mastitis you need antibiotics ASAP. Even with them it took 48 hours for my fever to come down. I would speak to a doc
