Going Cold turkey with breastfeeding

My little girl is 13 months. Have started weaning her off of my boobs now & have managed to cut her down to 2 feeds per day off of me & 1 lunch time bottle of cows milk. Although tonight I gave her cows milk before bed & she settled. So I have decided to go cold turkey with the 2 feeds per day now & wear tight sports bras so my milk supply dries up. Do I have a high chance of getting mastitis? I had it when my baby was 6 weeks & it was awful! I just think now is the right time to stop the breast feeding, although My boobs feel like they are going to explode! 😬
