Being stalked by deranged married man

Came looking for a word of advice on here a few months back but instead I got told my issues were fake and got called names in the comments lol, can't say that it surprised me though... so today the stalker went to my mothers house threatening to call cps if I didn't respond to his calls or messages.i Told his wife what was going on but I didn't expect her to believe me seeing how she didn't believe me the first time and just blamed it on me lol ...he caught wind of my pregnancy and is now messaging me saying how he believes the baby is his (impossible due to 7 month time frame) and he's going to take me to court and his wife is behind his decision 😳 this is honestly the weirdest thing I've ever experienced. I went to the police they suggested a restraining order but what is a piece of paper going to do for me if he attacks me again? I've literally had no contact with this person in over 7 months.
