Anyone else doing breastfeeding and formula?

Question

I exclusively breastfed my first child but with my second I decided to breastfeed/pump/and use formula when needed. I want my hubby to be as involved as he can and I want to be mentally well this time around (had PPD with my 1st) 
I was just wondering if anyone else is doing this or did this? 
Did using bottles confuse your breastfeeding baby? 
Did your baby prefer one over the other?

We exclusively breastfed for 4 weeks before I started him on a bottle with formula because I was going back to work at 7 weeks. He did fine with it and there was no nipple confusion between breast and bottle. He was formula fed at daycare and nursed with me mornings, evening and night. Weekends he would be breastfed as well. I hardly ever gave him a bottle. We did this until he was a year since I started him on whole milk. We just weaned from breastfeeding and he’s 16 months old. We also started solids at 6 months, too.

So I plan on doing both of I can💁🏻‍♀️❤️

Yup I did with my first and am with my third. Pointers. Always feed bottles at the same time of day. That way your milk regulates when it needs to produce milk. Start right away, us a slow feed bottle and research pace feeding

I had to supplement when I started back to work because I couldn’t keep up with my son. My son was lazy and definitely preferred the bottle to my nipple as it was easier. We used tommee tippee bottles. He wouldn’t drink out of any other kind. You may be able to pump enough that you won’t have to use formula. My son had no problem going between formula and breastmilk tho. He didn’t get any formula on the weekends. He only got formula at daycare.

I did with my first one nd same with my second one both formula Nd breastfeeding. I only give formula during night time so my husband can do that nd I can sleep. But during day time full on breastfeeding unless I’m not feeling well.
