How do i get my newborn to sleep alone ???

Same, but they're too young for sleep training. Just hang in there and ask your pediatrician about it

We use the Nested Bean swaddle and I think it definitely helps! Nothing to compare to since we’ve used it since day one, but our 3 week old sleeps amazing in his crib! Wakes up every 3 hours to eat but he goes back to sleep pretty quickly. We diaper change in the middle of feeding so he’s relaxed when we lay him down

My baby girl is a week old tomorrow and since bringing her home she naps throughout the day with no problems in her bassinet but from 12 midnight till atleast 3 a.m. she's awake and cranky and only wants to be held and rocked and then lay down in my bed until she's finally comfy enough to fall asleep to go back into her bassinet.

Is she swaddled? It is safe to swaddle until 8 weeks or baby shows sign of rolling first. You can try putting a heating pad where you plan to put baby, and then remove it before putting them down.

Have you tried swaddling or adding some layers? My newborn only wants held to sleep if it’s too cold. Sometimes while I’m feeding her I’ll go ahead and sit on her swaddle so it’s warmed up too then swaddle her up after she’s done and she will go out like a light.

with us it takes about 5 tries of putting her down her beginning to cry and then going back in her bassinet. I know it’s trial and error and she’s so new it takes getting used to

I’ve read it’s better to put baby down sleepy but not asleep (and of course all other needs are met) but I will follow that by saying I had the absolute worst time trying to get my first son to sleep in his own bed
