What’s your protocol for when baby comes home?

Not sure what to plan on because of COVID. I don’t think it’s realistic to say no family will be around us. What are you doing?

Living my normal life with family and friends

No family. No visitors. Not doing any family/friend holidays.

Still deciding. We’re thinking immediate family only for at least the first month. If they have quarantined 2 weeks then possibly no masks. But if they’ve been around anyone then a mask is required.

My family and closest friends will be aloud to meet the baby as long as they aren’t sick/don’t have ANY symptoms of any kind of illness!
But I also live in an area that is in the green. We have very few cases and everyone has been pretty cautious about everything!

Immediate family (no kids except maybe my 16 year old nephew) plus 2 close friends. Masks the whole time they’re in our home. We’re also asking them to wear fresh clothes ie: not coming straight from work, grocery store, etc. We have a pretty expensive air purifier that’s easing my mind a little too. 
Ill be home with my newborn and 20 month old so I need my family to help out regularly since my husband works so much. I’m not a fan of people coming and going often, but I’ll be desperate for someone to entertain my toddler.

Only immediate family (but if they have traveled they have to wait 14 days) my in-laws travel all the time but we have warned them, you travel you don’t see the baby.

Close friends and close relatives for us, these are typically people I have physical contact with on a regular basis. Of course if any of them are sick or have any symptoms, it will be a no go for them! 😋

My mom will stay with us for just a couple days after we bring baby home since it's our 2nd. We just kind of want to get into a groove.

My parents and sister are also very strictly quarantined, they will be the ones helping us with our toddler and seeing our newborn. No one else.

I am having a home birth. No visitors the first week at all.. per usual. After that only grandparents, aunts and uncles can visit. We really won’t be having a reason to leave the house for a couple of months either.
