Feeling lonely on your pregnancy?

I feel really lonely in this pregnancy, I know that my baby is in my belly growing nicely but I feel like I'm the only one who cares about him/her. 😔 I have been looking at everything the baby needs and getting the nursery together by myself. I feel like is probably not going to get any better when baby is born.

Yes I understand. I promise it does get better when the babe is born. I remember feeling this way with my first and I feel it again. I cried to my husband the other night saying I felt lonely. The truth is the babe is in us and we develop a bond with them that nobody else can. Once the baby is here you will see that people come around. It just isn’t real for them yet.

I do feel lonely.not depressed in anyway but lonely.we moved to a new country last year,all our friends are much older than me cause of my husband,they leave an hour away cause we are in the suburbs and my husband works 7-7pm Monday to Saturday...also due to a long time difference it’s hard to talk to anyone back home.but I knew that when we came here .soon I will have my baby and will find other mommies to hang out I hope

I'm sorry you are feeling lonely, but know that you are not alone in that feeling. I have people in my life so I am not physically alone, and yet no one really understands what it's like to be pregnant right now. I'm glad there are forums like this and places for women to go and just share. I hope you find peace and happiness soon. Just think about the love that grows within and that you will be the world to your baby.

Have you talked to your OB about prenatal depression? I highly recommend you do! 
Are you with the father? Any family? I’m sorry you feel this way, and I hope that it gets better for you.
