What is this and should I be worried about infant?

I live with my parents and my dad found this in his home office under his desk. Looks like long hair like spores about an inch long and then the second picture is black dust from the spores above. What is it? And should I be worried about my 4.5 month old?

If that is happening there is 100% mold/black mold possible asbestos￼ and its probably been there a while. I would contact a professional asap to come out and look. But its not very safe to live and breathe in especially for a baby.

That looks like black mold to me, which can be inhaled through the air and cause illness. My step father is a carpet cleaner and whenever he finds black mold in a house he has to suit up in a full hazmat suit and treat it. I would get a professional to come in and until then avoid going in that room. I'd also look everywhere else around the house to see if there's any more.
