Being Ready?

Hi Momma’s👋🏼 
Those of you who already have a little one running around, when and HOW did you know you were ready for baby #2?
I truly want another one but I’m scared that I’ll be so overwhelmed and not good at mothering two kids! 😩

My son (first) and daughter (second) are 3.5 years a part. I started trying when my son was 1, but unfortunately it took 2.5 years to get pregnant. But I LOVE the age difference. I'm now trying for #3 and my daughter will be 3 in January.

We wanted to have a full year of me not being pregnant before trying again. Even though I had no complications and a really easy recovery, I wanted my body to have a break. We were aiming for a 2ish year age gap but it ended up being just under 3 years. But we love it. My oldest was super helpful with the baby. Now we are going for #3, the closest it could be (depending on when I get pregnant) is 2.5 years apart.

My daughter is 3 in January we finally felt like we’re ready given the time it may take to get pregnant as well 😅 
Not 100% sure what made us feel ready, I just think when you know you know, there’s no rush! We have friends that have a toddler the same age as ours and have had another 2 babies since, we don’t know how they do it! 😂 We find parenting slightly challenging at times but we feel ready, as ready as you can be lol 
I’d also prefer not to have a large age gap between her and her siblings.
