My 8 month old LOVES food. So much so that whenever we eat a meal around her she smacks her lips loudly and if we don’t get the hint she’ll start crying. I then will feed her purée amd lately it seems to not be satisfying her.

This is really new to me. My first child hated food and just wanted to be breastfed (she didn’t really start eating food consistently until around 15 months old). My 8 month old just loves food, she only has her bottom two teeth and top two teeth so I’m a bit nervous about feeding her anything other than purées and super soft food. I’ve read about child lead weaning but that scares me so much.

What food do you guys feed your babies?? Please let me know. Also my baby is ebf and I’ll feed her purée about 3x/day.
