Ovulation question

So this is my first month really using this app while ttc. I haven’t needed it before with my other pregnancies cuz I got pregnant easily with them. I had a chemical this month and now me and hubby are trying and only going to try for 6 months, otherwise we are gonna be done so I want to give it our best shot!

So, I have a couple questions.

1) this is my first time ever using ovulation tests, when should I start testing? I’ll post a pic of my glow calendar.

2) does anyone swear by this app and their calendar and when it says you’re ovulating and when your period starts? Like is it accurate for the most part?
