Anybody with a newborn / infant in daycare ?

How are you dealing with it ? Were you scared to put them back into daycare with everything going on ?

🙋🏻‍♀️they take reasonable precautions. I’m not scared about covid, I just really miss him.

My daughter is at a small family daycare and it took me and her a week to adjust. I stayed home for a year with her so we both cried on her first day 😂😂

My son is at a large daycare facility. They’re very good about separating larger classes & keeping teachers at a necessity count verses a comfort count with minimal issues. They’re very caustions with parents and so on. I don’t worry about him as much as my older two in school.

Our son is in preschool program and they’ve taken so many precautions that I’m not worried.  They never closed during Covid and instead opened another class to get the classes smaller and more spaced out. They also don’t allow parents Inside and do temperature checks at the door and throughout the day plus constant hand washing.  They haven’t had any sickness during this as they have to notify us if any kid is sick with more than a cold so it has been reassuring and a must to keep his routine and my sanity!

Our daughter will go to daycare around 16 weeks (unless our school switches to online learning and then I’ll teach from home with her). Our son currently goes and we love our provider. She’s careful and the benefits for our kids outweighs the minimal risk (small, in-home daycare). I’m more scared of contracting it as a teacher than I am of my kids contracting it at daycare.
