So my 37 week appointment was cancelled and I’m not sure if I’m going to have an appointment next week either since my doctors office caught fire. So I might be stuck till she’s on her way or if I have issues. I was told to go to the hospital this morning to check to see if I’m dilating I did and they informed me they don’t do that sooooo I’m stuck in a limbo. I’ve had some inconsistent contractions and a lot of pressure. She’s also dropped A LOT. I’ve lost some of my mucus plug but haven’t had the bloody show. I have no idea how close I am to delivering nor if I’m dilating yet. So my question is how do I check to see if I’m dilating? Or have my husband check to see? Since the hospital basically said to not come back till I’m in active labor. I googled it and I still am unsure of how to check.
