I’m on my first month on the pill and I just had the typical egg white discharge. Could I be ovulating? I’m in the middle of my cycle

You don’t ovulate on the pill. It stops ovulation, this is one way it prevents pregnancy so you definitely shouldn’t be. If you’re taking daily, at the same time, it should work. The pill also increases cervical mucus to stop sperm from swimming through- well, make it more difficult anyway. Cervical mucus alone is not a good indicator of ovulation. If you think the pill is failing you, use back up and speak to your doctor to make sure.
