Good # of burp cloths?

What’s a good # of burp cloths? My baby shower is over so now I can start getting the rest of the things I need. How many burp cloths is enough? I have 10 currently-but I feel like may not be enough if he has acid reflux

10 is good to start! You can always buy more if your baby spits up more or anything! Also depends how often you do laundry!

I think 10 is plenty. I had about that or maybe even a little less with my daughter and it was more than enough. She wasn’t a huge spitter and we did laundry frequently! I only bought a pack of 4 for this baby so far

I started off with six when I had my daughter and had to buy more as she frequently spit up the first few months. I think I have 10-12 now.

10-12 is prob good! Although I will say- you will end up using ANYthing. What ever is closet at the time (a t shirt, blanket, towel) when the baby is spitting up 😂 make sure you have them spread around the house and in the diaper bag!

I'd say start with ten to fifteen. Be prepared to need more if you have a baby with reflux or one that spits up often. I had to increase my supply with my third as he was both a baby with reflux and spit up a lot.

My son was a spitter and we ended up using towels and anything else that was close by 🤣 id say we probably had around 15 though.

I use receiving blankets and have sooo many. I do make good use of them because they make good rags for just about anything. Motherhood is messy so having a rag laying around to help clean up spit up, vomit, milk, etc is always handy.

It totally depends. I had probably 15 with my first and I almost never used them, she just don’t spit up a lot! Other babies spit up a ton. I think 10 is a good start. They’re cheap so if you end up needing more you could order some off Amazon after baby arrives.

I think I have close to 20. 😬😂
We never bought any. They were all gifted to us with our first. 
I used all of them and most of our 15-20 receiving blankets if not all in a two week span for the first few months. 
He wasn’t a spitter but i leaked like crazy with breastfeeding and had an over active let down that soaked us both. 
I preferred the receiving blankets at home but the burp cloths were easier to pack and transport. I used them when we started solids as napkins too. 
I only did his laundry every other week/ every two weeks ish.
