Dry CM right after peak OPK?

So we’re trying again for the first cycle after my miscarriage in July. I’ve been tracking with OPKs and got a peak reading this morning! But this afternoon/evening, my CM is so dry that it’s almost nonexistent right now? I’ve had creamy/egg white CM for the past few days, so it’s weird that it changed. (Could it be from checking it too much...?)

Will this impact our chances this month? We’re still going to go for it, we’ve been having a lot of sex this week, and plan to have sex tonight and tomorrow to be safe (O-1 and O day).
