Why haven't I gotten a day or time to be induced

A couple of weeks ago in early August my doctor tested me for preeclampsia. Not even a few days later she calls well you tested positive come in tomorrow etc. So I did and she ran tests out the ass gave me a shot. She said she wanted to induce me at 37 weeks right. Okay I go back in many more times for a shot and to check if they baby is alright. Well I asked her about what day do you have in mind to induce me. And she said I'm not sure but I kinda wanna push you a little further before I give you a exact day. I proceed to tell her it would just ease my mind to know and so that I make sure I'm ready.
