Is anyone following the Maliyah Bass case? 💔

What are your thoughts? Does anyone else find the short term boyfriend to be strange? The whole story is just weird.

Ugh yes the entire story is just off, and even if it is true she should 100% be charged with negligence and child endangerment! Who leaves a 2 year old on an apartment playground alone! MAYBE and that’s a huge MAYBE in your own private fenced backyard with a window facing it you can watch from, but at an apartment, I mean come on! 😡

I only spent five minutes reading up on this but honestly it reminds me of that two or three year old girl that “went missing” in Kansas City a few weeks back and was also later found dead. 
When kids that age go missing, I’ve started to almost always suspect foul play. Usually it seems like the parents/boyfriends/girlfriends are always the ones arrested for it. It doesn’t surprise me at all anymore and I just expect them to be arrested eventually.

Ughh breaks my heart. I’ve only read articles but the moms whole “story” of what happened is just off. Especially since the activist that’s helping on the case did some investigating and apparently the parents were at a store by themselves before they called the cops and reported her missing.

Poor baby girl, who leaves a 2 year old by themselves in a playground. Am scared to leave my 2 year old daughter playing alone in her playroom INSIDE THE HOUSE😱 the "mother" and her boyfriend had something to do her death, it doesn't add up the body was found 22 miles(that's really far for a 2 year to walk)  from where she was last seen and the blue shoes she was supposedly wearing were found at the apartment. Rip little angel.

It’s not in the news where I live (Illinois) as far as I can tell, but after looking it up it just looks heartbreaking.. there is a special place in hell for people who do harm or allow harm to come to a child 😞😞

The neighbors and community seem to be more outraged than the mom is. I believe she did it. Her story doesn’t make sense and she’s negligent in any scenario you can come up with. Why would you go inside and shut the door while your toddler is outside playing? Especially in the neighborhood they live in.
