Is something wrong?
Hi all! My son is almost 12 months and has never ever put anything in his mouth. Toys, teething rings, food, nada! He does use pincher grip to pick up things, but just to inspect. Food gets tossed on the floor every time. When I try to help guide him, he cries and shoves my hand away. He will eat when I feed him, but fusses a lot and looses interest quickly. Should I be concerned? Our peds at the last appointment said he might just be lazy and like being fed. But I feel like all babies should be mouthing things and exploring this way. He just won't do it. He also won't point, wave or clap. He does smile and interact, and he is doing well with crawling and standing. He babbles some, and sleeps through the night.
