Random question... 🤔

Totally random, but serious question... just curious. Why do a lot of people say “waters” and not just “water?” I see it all the time and I’m just wondering if there’s something I don’t know. My doctor always just says “Water” and that’s what I’ve always heard it called until I joined this app a few years ago. As in “My doctor came in to break my water (or waters).” No judgement, just genuinely curious. I’m from the southern United States, so maybe it’s a regional thing? 🤷🏼‍♀️
