Is she buckled wrong?! Please help

We haven’t drove yet I just got these seatbelt covers and they look so weird and don’t fit right and idk if even safe to have these on or not. Not going to drive with her in there until I know it’s safe and right

Also - is the buckle supposed to go higher than this ? How tight should it be ???

You shouldn't be using seatbelt covers. Carseats were tested as is not with accessories.

Are the straps at or below the shoulders? Does it pass the pinch test? The pinch test is when you try and pinch the straps with your fingers. If you can grab the straps it needs to be tighter. If not it's tight enough. Buckle clip should be at armpit level. The strap covers need to be removed though. If they didn't come with the seat or made by the same company they should not be used as they haven't been tested with the seat. Also, there should be no slack in the hip either with the straps. But, from the looks of it, baby looks fine

You can use ones that are specifically made and tested for your seat, some seats do have accessories made for them but a lot don't. Anything else is unsafe and shouldn't be used
