Am I 8 weeks and 3 days or 7 weeks??

So this app tells me I’m 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant according to my last period (July 4) and I went to an early ultrasound (not an OBGYN just an ultrasound place) and was told that I was only 6 weeks at the time so 7 weeks now and I’m not sure which one I am?? Help!

I had my last period 07/05 and went for first ultrasound and measured 5 weeks and 3 days I go back this Friday I should be around 7 week and a few days. I think I ovulated late or something. We really weren’t trying for a baby so I wasn’t tracking my ovulation. But boom now we’re pregnant and I do keep track of the times we’ve had sex and my cycle etc so according to my calendar I’m assuming I got pregnant towards the end of July.

I went had my 6 week scan and they said I seemed to be on track with when my last period was but on the 8 week scan they were seeing a few days earlier for sizing, so my doctor confirmed from that scan I was a few days earlier. So I had to track back a few days.

Did you use any method to track ovulation? Maybe you ovulated late
