Tile floors

Who has tile flooring and has LOs walking or crawling? I’m so scared to do floor time because I feel like he’ll fall and hurt himself. We have the puzzle mat so he’s not just sitting on the tile and has cushion but the only time we do floor time is when we’re on the floor with him and there are pillows all around. I feel like this has delayed his crawling and walking because he doesn’t have a place to explore but I’m just so scared for him to get hurt. Are there any suggestions on what I can do?
