Pregnant with an IUD???

I’ve had an IUD (the mirena) since 2018. I got it to control my periods and since getting it I’ve been fairly regular. Sometimes I was off by a couple days but nothing like it was before I got the IUD. I am sexually active with my bf of almost 4 months and we’ve talked about whether or not we’re comfortable with not using condoms. We have both been tested for STD’s recently so I’m not worried about that and since the IUD has a higher pregnancy prevention rate than condoms we weren’t concerned about that.

That was a month ago at the end of my last period. Since then we’ve had sex several times and he came in me every time, which again, we’re both ok with. However, I’m 7 days late. I’ve taken three tests these past couple of days and they all came up negative. Should I test some more? Should I call my doctor? I’m worried that if I AM somehow pregnant then how will my IUD affect the baby?

Please no hate. We did talk about the possibility of getting pregnant and although we both will be stressed out, neither of us are going to back out. And honestly I wouldn’t be upset if I did get pregnant. I’m just not financially stable enough for it yet. But we would make it work.
