Car seat?

My son got weighed last month and he was 25 pounds he's probably almost 30 pounds now and 33 inches tall. Can go go to forward facing car seat. The rear fast car seat looks way to small for him he's all bunched up. He is A year and 1 month old.

They can't be forward facing until 2. And really, should be rearfacing until they max out the height/weight requirements. I'll never understand people trying to find excuses to move their child from the most safe position to one that is less safe. I have two kids who are bigger and older and fit just fine rear facing. 
I have a 3.5 y/o, a 2 y/o, and a 10 week old that are all rearfacing. And they will be that way until they max out the weights/heights for the rearfacing option on their carseat.

Get the extend-2-fit by graco... they need to be rear facing until at least 2, not because of height or weight but because their spinal column and neck muscles need time to develop.

Kids should rear face til minimum 4 years old! Laws most places are way outdated. If your 1 year old looks tight in his seat you should buy a new one that fits a larger child.

Don’t turn yet! He is way too small to be forward facing. In my country (Finland) it’s recommended that children are rear facing to 5 years.

Rear face until 2 at the very minimum. The longer you can do it, the safer it is.

The law where I am says that they have to be 2 years old to switch to front facing. My son is 2.5 and I still have him rear facing. It's a lot safer. If you're dead set on turning the car seat check the weight requirements and any laws they have put in place.

His car seat said it only goes up to 30 pounds. I got him a forward facing one that says front facing is 30 pounds and up
